Read below for an explanation of what that exactly means.
Hello, my name is Rodney Casey. I am the owner of Our Town Appliance. When I decided to re-open my business we sat down and thought long and hard about how we could separate our business from our competitors.
In our minds, there are a few characteristics a business must have and actions a business must take to truly separate themselves from their competitors.
They must be small businesses with local ownership and a desire to grow. These two criteria keep you hungry and accountable. We are both of these.
They must be unafraid to charge a professional fee and then give the level of professional service that commands that fee. These two criteria keep you profitable and flexible. We believe that as well.
They must be willing to use that flexibility to stand behind their service 100%, even at a loss if necessary, and do the right thing the right way, even when it's tough. These two criteria demonstrate character and courage. We understand that one, and believe that as well.
Then we got to the meat of the matter: Good enough just isn't good enough.
Any GOOD appliance service company knows how to accurately diagnose and fix an appliance or they wouldn't be in business. Any GOOD appliance service company is not going to cheat you, lie to you, or steal from you or they won't be in business long. Any GOOD appliance service company will smile and thank you for your business at the end of a successful repair, it's just the natural thing to do.
A GREAT appliance service company will smile and thank you for your business at the end of a disastrous repair and ask you for a review and a referral. They may be walking away having just worked two hours for you free of charge, or even worse have just installed expensive parts that can't be returned. Their long-term PROFESSIONAL PRIDE is worth more to them than their short-term financial loss. This made us understand that good service companies are fairly easy to find, but GREAT appliance service companies separate themselves from the others with PROFESSIONAL PRIDE.
So, we're NOT the good guys. Good enough just isn't good enough for us.
Why use us? We want to go the extra mile to separate ourselves from the "good guys". Call us or email us with your appliance repair concerns and we will get right back to you.

Like to do it yourself? We give you three easy ways to research and buy appliance parts.
We have four components to most repairs: the Diagnostic Charge, Parts, Tax, and Labor, which we combine into a Flat Rate price.
We charge a Diagnostic Charge of $75.00, which includes the trip to your house and an accurate diagnosis.
This is a one-time fee, due when the diagnosis is given, and credited toward the total completed appliance repair cost.
At that point, an accurate estimate will be given of the cost to complete the repair. This will include any parts, tax, and the labor to install the parts or complete the repair.
The parts, tax, and labor are not due until the repair is complete and normal operation verified, unless a special order part is required, then a part deposit is required.
We schedule in two to three hour windows for added convenience to you in planning your day.
We also offer online scheduling capabilities with email or text verification and confirmation and the name of the technician assigned to your job.
On same day repairs we call when in route to your house, with a 15 to 30 minute call ahead.
On next day or return with part repairs we offer text and email reminders.
Our technicians wear uniforms with logos for easy identification at the door, or through the peephole.
Our technicians have photo I.D. badges with the Our Town Appliance logo on the badge.
Well, we don't sell new appliances, but we have a partner that does! Check below for our authorized new appliance dealer in your area. Give them a call and tell them that Our Town Appliance sent you their way, and you can access any special pricing they might have for you.
Now, used appliances are a different story. We usually have used appliances in stock, ready to be picked up. Available stock is always fluctuating due to availability and demand. A separate webpage is coming soon to view current inventory with pictures. For now, you can just contact us about any used appliance questions.
